Terms of Service

By accessing and using the Wakamann website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Wakamann provides technology consulting, software development, cloud infrastructure, mobile development, AI/ML integration, blockchain development, and related technology services. All services are provided on a project basis with specific terms outlined in individual service agreements or statements of work.

When engaging our services, you agree to: • Provide accurate and complete project requirements • Make timely decisions and provide feedback during the project lifecycle • Ensure you have the rights to any materials you provide to us • Pay for services as agreed in the project contract • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose

Unless otherwise agreed in a specific project contract: • All intellectual property created during a project is transferred to the client upon full payment • Wakamann retains the right to use general knowledge, skills, and experience gained during projects • Pre-existing intellectual property belonging to either party remains the property of its owner • Wakamann may use project descriptions (without confidential details) in its portfolio

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of business. This obligation survives the termination of any service agreement for a period of two (2) years.

Wakamann's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. We provide a 30-day warranty period after project delivery during which we will fix defects at no additional cost. Except as expressly stated, all services are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.

Either party may terminate a service engagement with 30 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall pay for all work completed up to the date of termination. Wakamann may immediately terminate services if the client breaches these terms or engages in unlawful activity.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith, and if unresolved, through arbitration in Douala, Cameroon.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
